What is the 10 / 40 Window?

Take a look at this map. When we read the tales of the first century church and where they shared the Gospel, to what areas did they travel?

In today's world, this window of geography, between the 10th and 40th degree of north latitude, is the area LEAST evangelized in the world.

This area is now home to the majority of the world's unevangelized nations and boasts a population of 3.26 billion people- that's 40.75% of the world's population. In addition, the 10/40 Window contains the overwhelming majority of the world's least evangelized 'megacities' - that is cities whose population exceeds one million people. The top 50 least evangelized megacities are all in the 10/40 Window!

Additionally, the 10/40 Window contains four of the world's dominant religions in opposition to the Gospel. The world's majority of followers of Islam, Hinduism, and Buddhism as well as atheism/communism' live within the 10/40 Window. On the west side of the 10/40 Window, the Muslim world can be seen most prominently in a wide band across northern Africa into the Middle East. South Asia, in the middle of the 10/40 Window, is the heart of Hinduism with its 33 million+ gods. Buddhism influences the east side of the 10/40 Window, as it is the primary religion in Southeast Asia. And although officially an atheistic country since the Marxist revolution of the late 1940s, China is nevertheless deeply influenced by its Buddhist roots.

The fallout of these satanic worldviews has led to extreme poverty, both spiritually as well as monetarily. Statistically out of the world's poorest members, 8/10 of them live in this window. On average, they survive on less than a few hundred dollars per person per year.

With such dire circumstance as we enter into these last days, we must get the everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

Through publishing, and missionary schooling, our goal is to minister the Gospel to these starving communities within the 10/40 Window. The road is difficult and narrow, and those who wish to partner with us should know that should you choose to embark on this mission, we cannot guarantee your return. The 10/40 Window is home to the most severe punishment and persecution of Christians in the world, which is exactly why we must go.

This is the work that we are saved for. Not to sit upon pews and couch-surf until Christ returns, but to truly give all so that souls can be harvested to the Kingdom of God.
